"Eye of the Tiger" is a song performed by the American rock group Survivor, and is taken from the album of the same name. It was released on January 1, 1982, and was written at the request of Sylvester Stallone for the film Rocky III. The original mix of the song, heard in the film, features tiger growls, though the single omits them.

Vintage Wizard Of Oz - Canadian Poster RARE PICTURE - 16x20ReviewsDid not receive product with in estimated shipping time, but when I contact them they said it was b/c it had been damaged when they originally shipped it & they would ship a new one. They did ship a new one & I received it very fast. The product was an excellent value and customer service was wonderful! I would definitely do business with them again! I placed my order for this poster on Nov. 9th for a birthday gift that was needed by the end of Nov. The est. delivery date was Nov. 19th - 24th. After not receiving any emails concerning my delayed order I contacted them on Dec. 1st. I received two different emails telling me that my order was delayed due to the post office had "mangled" my poster. They told me that it wasn't my fault and they would send me out another poster. It would have been nice to be updated on my order without me having to write and ask when it was well past the est. delivery date. They were very nice after I contacted them. My poster arrived within a few days after me contacting them. I am not sure how the post office could mangle the poster the first time as it came to me packaged in a sturdy cardboard tube - in great condition. The poster arrived in great shape, it was prepared for shipping quite well. The size of the poster I recieved was only 12" x 16", I kept it because I had ordered it for a Christmas gift and did not have time to return it. I went on-line to leave my review and to say I was disappointed. To my surprise I recieved 3 different e-mails from Amazon & Adam Hersh Posters asking what they could do to make it right and without me asking, they reimbursed my account for half of what I had originally paid! OUTSTANDING!! Poster was damaged in the mail. They immediately sent me a replacement one. Excellent communication and service! Thank you! Average Rating:![]() |

Individual Thought PatternsReviewsThis album is my favorite offering from Death. I first learned about the band from seeing the "Philosopher" video online. Needless to say, that song had me hooked from the introduction. Every single song on this album is a masterpiece in my opinion. It has enough of the old school sound while also bringing forth many new ideas. This and "Human" are the albums bridging the gap between the old Death and the new. This period of music is Death at their most creative and thought provoking lyric-wise. I often find myself thinking about some of the words sung during normal life. That is how profound and impacting they are to me. Definitely worth a listen, let alone a purchase. this is their best album. if your a fan of death metal, buy this now. there is absolutely no flaw with this album. shipping was about 2-3 days after i ordered and i received it with no damage. The drumming is crazy, the bass can be heard through out the entire album. Andy LaRoque of King Diamond and Chuck are a bad ass duo, to me its like a versus thing they got goin on to see who can out do the other on the solos. They both do a good job it makes me rewind back a few songs cuz of the solos. My fav songs are Overactive imagination, In human form, Trapped in a corner, Mentally Blind, Individual, Destiny(great intro), Philosopher. Out of all the Death albums i have so far this one gets more play then the others. Get yourself a copy! RIP CHUCK SCHULDINER I never get bored with this album. Every track is an absolute masterpiece. Chuck screamed some very thoughtful lyrics, whilst shredding some great solos with second guitarist Andy La Rocque. Legendary drummer Gene Hoglan also made his initial appearance for Death. The style here is probably best described as technical Death metal with progressive elements. This album should appeal to metal fans who don't normally listen to the more 'extreme' stuff, due to the more accessible sound and the sheer amazing musicianship displayed here. One of Death's more well known tracks 'The Philosopher' can be found here. This is Death's follow-up to Human, an example of what Death Metal should be, intead of what it is. Anyway, this album continues Chuck Schuldiner's style of recruiting temporary musicians to work around his playing to make an album. And it works...amazingly. Individual Thought Patterns is an incredible album, simply put. The songs are loud, fast, agressive, and yet also very catchy, complex, and melodic at all the right times. As per usual, the topics discussed in Chuck's lyrics reflect a somewhat pessimistic view of people, especially people like Socrates (that's a joke aimed at the last track on the album). He also does touch upon things such as fate, temptation, human ability, science run amok, and other things of interest. The guitar riffs are really quite fresh and creative, instead of simple 16th note low E riffs some bands overuse. Steve DiGiorgio and his famous fretless bass recorded the bottomend duties for this record, and it shows. It's nice to hear an album, a rock album at that, where the bass is actually audible in the mix. Steve has a style all his own, and it's put to good use here. Each song is around 5 minutes in length, which for some can be too long, but I found it to be enough to keep my interest without insisting on itself. I really also must shower the soloing on this album with praise. I love the contrast in styles between Chuck and Andy LaRocque (the former playing entirely by ear, while the latter is classically trained). Their playing styles are just so far removed, but they each add to the song an additional layer that complements it perfectly. It's also great because neither guitarist is obsessed with flashy things like whammy-bar abuse or pinch harmonics or really, really big bends (although they do appear, but are better used to accentuate what's there, not to be what's there). I won't go over the individual tracks - I don't want to ruin anything for you. All the tracks shine through and are great pieces of metal music. If I did have one small complaint, it's that Chuck's vocals on this album sometimes sound like he is shouting from inside a cave, but thankfully it's not often and it doesn't detract from the albums quality much, if at all. In the end, this is another great record by Death, and another to play until my CD is lasered into oblivion. 5 stars. Average Rating:![]() |

Super HitsReviewsEddie Money is probably one of the most underrated classic rock singers. He had a bunch of great hits from the late 70's to the mid-80's, and they're all here on Super Hits. The most notable of the hits on this album are "Two Tickets To Paradise," "Take Me Home Tonight," "I Wanna Go Back," "Walk On Water," and my favorite, "Baby Hold On." I didn't know the other five songs the first time I listened to them, but let me tell you, they're not duds and they're not what you find on most other greatest hits albums, which is filler.I've come to like every single song on Eddie Money's Super Hits, making it one of the few albums that I like to listen to from start to finish without skipping any songs. Whether you like upbeat rocking hits ("Take Me Home Tonight" and "Think I'm In Love") or just great songs ("Baby Hold On," "I Wanna Go Back," and every other song on the album), it's all here waiting for you on Eddie Money's Super Hits.If you wanna go back to the late 70's or the 80's and listen to some of the best rock 'n roll to come from those eras, then get Eddie Money's Super Hits album. It won't be a big crash to you, you'll want to hold on to this one and you'll keep running back to it time after time. It won't give you the ability to walk on water or earn you two tickets to paradise, but you will want to take it home tonight, tomorrow night, and for years to come, to your cd player in order to experience some great music from an underrated artist. Super Hits, a colletion of the best of Eddie Money with classics like Take Me Home Tonight (my favorite) and Two Tickets to Paradise, big successes of the eighties that will for ever mark the history of the music! A great cd! Average Rating:![]() |

Bad Company: Hard Rock Live [Blu-ray] + Bonus CDReviewsGreat band great sound, the Blu Ray picure quality is fantastic and the sound quality is excellent. I never got to see these guys play so this has to be the next best thing! The Blu Ray also comes with a CD of the concert so you can't beat the price, it would be nice if other companies would include a CD along with their Blu Ray's. You can't go wrong with this concert it is really good!! ...after reading the other reviews. Don't get me wrong, it's not the greatest concert disc ever but it is very good. That being said, some of the comments about the audio and video are essentially correct (with some caveats). The picture is grainy and black levels leave something to be desired, but it is sharp and the colors are nice. I didn't see any added edge enhancement and there are no encoding artifacts. Overall, not bad at all but not reference quality either. The DTS-MA track has exellent resolution and is very clear. However, it is lacking any real bass and sounds too bright as a result. Also the mix suffers from (as others have mentioned) Ralphs' guitar being too loud in the mix and Rodgers' vocals being spread out to the rear channels too much. The stereo track lacked the bite of the DTS-MA track so after much fiddling I came up with a nice compromise. Because my Blu-ray player does the sound decoding internally (and passes the lossless sound to the receiver via analog cables) I was able to pass the core-only 5.1 DTS track over the digital optical cable to my receiver and play a bit with my usual settings. By increasing the crossover on the receiver from 60 Hz to 110Hz and increasing the subwoofer level a bit (about 3 dB), I was able to get a nice bass sound that wasn't boomy and had some definition to it. The other advantage of this method is that it allows you to use the 5.1 track and (surprisingly) Rodgers' vocals are not all spread out but are nicely locked up front with only reverb in the rear channels. Ralphs' guitar also seems less prominent. Finally, after listening to it twice, I paid more attention to the music and really liked it a lot. The first time through I thought the concert got better as it progressed but listening to the first few tracks again, it really was good right from the beginning. I don't think Ralphs was that bad at all but the added guitarist does help. Rodgers and Kirke are excellent IMO and the added bassist moves things along. Overall a great collection of songs played very well by the three remaining members of Bad Co. Definitely recommended I'd forgotten just how much music Bad Company made and how GOOD it was (is). For me, the video/audio quality of this dvd is adequate; wish the bass was more prominent. Aside from that this performance is top shelf. For critics out there, stop & think: these guys are into their 50's and can still outperform many of today's artists. I don't know many other groups who were popular back in the 70's who could perform as professionally or have the song catalog Bad Company does. I own many concert DVD's. This is one of my top 10!!! My expectations were modest given that this concert was over 25 years after the original line-up's last release. I was very impressed with Rodgers - voice is still strong, seemed like he was having a great time. Simon was solid, while Mick's solos were hit or miss. Backup guitarist and bass player were fine, though both looked out of place on stage. Set list has nearly all of their best material. Thought the audio quality was good, and video quality was average. Haven't listened to the CD yet. The package is a steal for $17 - buy it if you're a Bad Company fan or just like good classic rock. It's unfortunate that the only live recording by the group in their prime is not readily available; hopefully it will be re-released sometime soon. On another note, the occasional crowd shots were amusing - lot of folks well past their prime! I agree with T Short's review regarding teh video quality. The video quality is not great and is very grainy for a modern day Blu-ray. It almost looks like there's static in the video at times. That said, the performance by the band, especially Paul Rodgers, is fantastic. The sound quality is great, and the bonus audio CD of the performance is a big plus. It's hard to understand how such a modern HD recording ended up so grainy, but this Blu-ray is still worth buying if you're a Bad Co. fan. Paul Rodgers "Live in Glasgow" is a better recording. Too bad they didn't use the same production team for this release. Average Rating:![]() |

Michael Jackson: This Is It (2-Disc Limited Edition)ReviewsWhat a great glimpse into the life of a man no one knew but everyone talked about. He was an extraordinary person and it is shown plain as day here by his friends and associates. RIP, MJ. I really enjoyed this DVD. I didn't get a chance to see it when it was on the big screen and that's why I purchased it. I especially liked the added features. One was about the costumes that had been made for him to wear. That really brought it home for me. My husband wasn't going to watch it but got sucked in and enjoyed it just as much,if not more, than I did! He really enjoyed the music. I found it interesting that they had all of the footage that they did. Well, I'm giving it 5 stars because I am such a fan. This is actually a video about the making of the concert that did not happen. It does let you in on some of the pressures and the intense detail work involved in staging such efforts. It is not a video of a concert, and you should not expect to see a concert presented. This was yet another great purchase through Amazon. The item received was as advertised, and arrived in a timely fashion. I am a huge Michael Jackson fan, so his death has had quite an effect on me. It is as if a my childhood was officially buried with him. I was torn about going to see This Is It in the theatre. I felt as if it was too soon and all about money, not quite the tribute Michael deserved. After all with all the tours Michael Jackson went on he never released a substantial amount of behind the scenes footage. I think he always liked to keep the illusion alive. Anyway I gave in to my own curiousity and I must say I was mixed with emotion. It was fascinating to see how much of a perfectionist he was and what dedication went into his perfomances. At the same time it saddened me that this really was it. I would never have the priviledge again, to see him in his element, on stage. I hold onto those great memories I have of seeing him on the Bad Tour and with the Jackson Five in the seventies. This is It, is a must have for everyone that has been touched by Michael Jackson's music. Even if you are not familiar with him, or were not fortunate enough to see him live, this is a dvd you should add to your collection. Average Rating:![]() |

Alive (2pc) (W/CD) (Btrs)ReviewsI am writing this review while watching the DVD. This DVD will be great if some interviews/documentaries were not set between each songs or so. I still do not get why DVDs are not released with one section of live performances and one section about the band. if you are a great fan you might enjoy this, but if you want just to watch their gigs, such authoring is extremely annoying (and you end up writing review on Amazon while watching it). The sound is also only stereo, no 5.1. The sound is good but kind of flat without the intensity you will expect from a live recording (I have seen the band during this tour and they were amazing). There are no captions which could make the non english speaker annoyed during the interview sections. Some video footages appears poorly when upscale to the 1080 format (especially the first minute with the Tokyo audience on beautiful cubic pixel images). This is most likely related to a cheap production behind the DVD. The text reference to Alien on the cover art was not probably not necessary...(Probably personal taste...) For years Meshuggah have been churning out chaotic, devastating metal, and now they finally have a live release for the fans to really enjoy. The main feature on the dvd is a concert/documentary film with footage of them in several cities on their obZen tour. Sound quality is top notch as the live audio was mixed by longtime producer/engineer Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames, Soilwork, Behemoth). Extras include the Bleed music video as well as the making of the video, and behind the scenes looks at the bands instruments (drums, guitars, and bass). The audio cd features all of the songs from the dvd, but in a different order, even some being from shows different than the dvd. If I had one complaint, it'd be that there aren't enough songs from Chaosphere and obZen, and there are none from Destroy Erase Improve, not even Future Breed Machine, one of their most well known songs. Despite the lack of some material, the quality of the product overall (production, audio, visuals, even the packaging) makes up for it. This is their first live release after all. I preordered this DVD because I was at that 2009 New York Show. I have to say it captures the moment. I realize now it was a small stage (comparing to the Tokyo and Montreal footage), but I am so glad they included one track from that show! That piece has more crowd footage than any other, with hovering overhead cams and everything, and it truly shows how off the hook it was from the stage ALLL the way back to the sound board. If the whole DVD were like that, with insane people mugging for the camera from the pit, it would get old. But one song, I'm glad they picked Bleed! So in short, the DVD is great. The band is totally on it with every track. I really like the interludes with the band between songs. Besides the interviews which are always great, the audio and video treatment of that footage is cool. The sound on the included CD is sharp and heavy. For any fan of the band, this is well worth picking up. One word of warning: After viewing, you may find yourself shopping for a new surround system. Meshuggah Alive is a band at the top of their game playing some of the most impressive progressive metal of today. Their performances are top-notch and almost perfect with just enough of that human element to keep it interesting. The highlight for myself and most fans will likely be Bleed, which is played with surprising precision. Also, New Millenium Cyanide Christ stands out as sounding possibly better than the Chaosphere version, as does The Mouth Licking What You've Bled. Lethargica boasts an even slower breakdown than on the obZen album version which makes this heavier than hell track even heavier. Unlike the "Nothing" reissue DVD, the camera work here isn't seizure inducing and the camera actually follows Fredrik when he's playing a solo. BIG PLUS. Also the sound quality is superior to that DVD. The ONLY downside to the long and varied setlist from their career None thru obZen is the glaring omission of Future Breed Machine. Maybe they're sick of playing it or maybe it's an easter egg (wishful thinking). Other songs I would've liked to see would be Sickening, Corridor of Chameleons, and In Death-Is Death, but the setlist here is already quite stellar. The DVD is the real highlight here but having a CD of all the tracks boasts even more bang for your buck. Highly recommended for all Meshuggah fans. I say that with hesitance because Meshuggah is one of the most polarizing bands I know. I love them, and everyone around me hates them, so I get used to people not being into them. However, I must say that I was EXTREMELY satisfied with this DVD. Almost all of the footage was amazing. The only one that could've been better was "Bleed" in NYC, because it was at a much smaller club and they apparently had fewer cameras. There are a lot of candid moments with the band in between songs, and good interviews. If you don't like that stuff, you can just skip through, and it will still be awesome. My recommendation is to buy it and play it LOUDLY. Average Rating:![]() |

Brainwave SuiteReviewsI work in a creative field and have been listening to this whole set on a daily basis at work through my iPod. I've noticed a big increase in my ability to concentrate, generate & organize ideas, and to communicate clearly. I would recommend these to any creative individuals. The Brainwave Suite is terrific for mediation, relaxation, clarity of thought and sleep. Each cd is wonderful for the task for which it was developed. I particularly love the Alpha meditation cd and the sleep cd. Even my cat has benefited from the Alpha cd. This is a good introduction to the area of brainwave entrainment- it can give users a first taste. But the best choice would be to research the subject and use custom audio programs like NP. Great CDs that realy help you meditate and get much needed sleep. The other positive reviews here are spot on - in addition to those positive reviews I would like to add that this cd set has proven very useful for when I have migraines. I would recommend anyone who suffers from migraines to try this. It doesn't replace the medications (for me) but it does help with support and coping during an attack - I find it helps to shorten some attacks. For this purpose the Relaxation and Meditation CD seems to be the most effective in the set, but each of the tracks have helped. Average Rating:![]() |

Lo Que Te Conté Mientras Te Hacías la DormidaReviewsThis is my favorite of all the LODVG albums (with Amaia Montero) - The music really came together in this album. The lyrics are beautiful, especially in Rosas, La Paz de tus Ojos, and Un Mundo Mejor. I bought this album soon after its release and it is still one of my favorites. I love this woman's voice! Este CD estuvo excelente. Lo escucho cuando manejo al trabajo y me despierta y estoy bailando en el carro. Muy buen CD! This album is stunning! The songs are once again, catchy, clever, literate, romantic and often funny. The arrangements on this album are even more elaborate and innovative than in their previous effort. I swear this band just keeps getting better! The vocal harmonies are as lovely as they have ever been; the lead singer's voice is amazing, strong, beautiful and sexy! The Beatles influence is still there, and the songs are very well crafted, yet sound very different from the previous album. The first three singles are outstanding; "20 de Enero" ("20th January"), "Puedes Contar Conmigo" ("You Can Count On Me") and "Rosas" ("Roses"), but the rest of the songs are just as good. This album (and its predecessor "El Viaje De Copperpot") is one of those albums where every song is very very good. This one of the Best, if not THE BEST Spanish Pop/Rock Band in the world!! I refer to their music as "Pop/Rock" for two reasons; the "rock" more than most "pop" bands and their songs have a complex struture that reveals craftmanship. This is not your average pop band!! These guys and gal actually write their own songs and play instruments; they don't just sing. This band is a real treat and a rarity amongst all the crap that passes for music in the Spanish Pop world today. I heard they just put out a new album. Can't wait to hear it!! Having enjoyed Latin music for many years and not being any where near competent in Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese, I can say that this group is up there with Electric Light Orchestra, Emerson Lake & Palmer, and The Corrs. Of their four studio albums this one is the best one in my opinion by the fact that it has the greater number of really good songs than the others. Very good European pop rock with a touch of Old Spain for extra flavor. I would like this album more if I liked the lead singers voice. Some songs sound quite good, so maybe I will look out for them. Drew's Famous Hawaiian Luau PartyReviewsVery pleased with this CD - we were holding a Hula Girl Party for our daughter, and this music provided the perfect background. I was excited to see all the fun music so I got suckered into buying it. What a let down! It breaks my heart because it had so much potential. I wish I could find this collection of songs only well done by the original musicians or even a good cover band. I bought this cd to be played at my 8yr old daughters birthday party. She decided to have a Luau theme. Great music to go with this type of party. This one was ok, but not my favorite. Try Drews Island Jam, much better. Logitech Rumblepad 2 Vibration Feedback GamepadReviewsRumble pad is good. It is worth the price I had paid for it. Easier to play my games compared to using a key broad I bought this to use with my MAME setup at home, which includes emulators for other systems, like Sega and Nintendo. It works ok with some of the MAME arcade games, but most of those are best with a heavy duty stick, like the X-arcade, or a homemade Happs. For old Sega and Nintendo games, though, the Logitech rumblepad is great, and does the job quite nicely. First off, though, let me reiterate what so many other reviewers have already noted. If you have a Mac, the rumble/feedback function is useless as the Mac will not recognize it. In fact, it doesn't seem like PC users are getting better responses, but I could be wrong about that. Anyway, I looked at almost all the gamepads Amazon has available, and this seemed to be rated the best, so I went with it. In terms of response time, it's been great. If you are using emulators, you will have to program the pad first, but once programmed, it works well. Thus far, the analog joystick has been both responsive and has a solid ball, centering itself fairly well. It can be a little sensitive at times, though, like when I played Donkey Kong, I would stop and instead of Mario just stopping, he would also turn the other direction, which would cause me to get killed by a barrel. As I mentioned before though, this is not the best controller to use with MAME anyway. I will sometimes switch to the Dpad, which is better about that sort of thing. What I love about it is that it isn't like the four arrow Playstation pads. It has the full circle, which means you can be more specific with your directions when it's called for, and I can be lazy as well. I can 'roll' my thumb from down to right, instead of having to press them separately, which I prefer. I can't speak to the durability factor yet, as I have only owned it for a few weeks, but so far it's been solid, and I've played it at least once a day since I received it. If you are a gamer looking for an inexpensive Nintendo/Sega/Playstation-like gamepad, this is a good one to go with. It worked for the game I bought it with. I recently purchased Grand Theft auto 4 for PC and I did not want to be stuck using a keyboard for the controller so I purchased this controller because it resembles the PS2 controller which is very comfortable for me to use. I installed the controller and everything seemed fine, then I installed the game. once I finally set up to play I couldn't use it. I went to a forum to see if there was anything I was missing, nope. It's just that this controller does not work with the game, or works sometimes. If it weren't for my brother's Xbox 360 controller I wouldn't be playing the game. BTW, I HATE the Xbox/360 controller and controls. It's so annoying and hard for me to get used to. I prefer the PS2 control type which is why I bought the freaking controller. Oh well, I'll get used to it and this controller may have to get resold so i can at least get some of my money back. Shame. Update: Okay I managed to get this thing working after uninstalling and reinstalling, then setting the game settings on direct input. Much better, although I still had to use the Xbox 360 controller to set it up and it's kinda annoying that the game is sill going by the xbox 360 controller buttons. But oh well, still better than having to use it. Why opt for an inferior Xbox 360 gamepad when you can get a proper PC one? Unlike the Xbox 360 pad, the Rumblepad has been designed strictly for PCs. The most important advantage of that is the actual software profiler that comes with it. You can create macros, reassign buttons, attach mouse functionality, etc etc. The Xbox 360 pad has none of these features, unless you are willing to hunt the web for non-official 3rd party apps, and even then you won't get all of them. I cannot stress enough how powerful the profiler on this thing is. Logitech has also updated it to work on Windows 7 (not that it had any issues before). The 360 controller does have one advantage over the Rumblepad however: trigger buttons. They are missing on the Logitech. Still... I can do without them, and it's definitely not something worth sacrificing the profiler for. The rumble motors are powerful, and it feels very comfortable. The D-pad is especially good. Been using this for years on all sorts of games, ranging from 3rd person RPGs like Gothic to sports games like PES. Gothic in particular does not support gamepads, so the profiler comes very handy (you assign keyboard keys to gamepad buttons, and mouse look to analog sticks). On games where gamepads are supported all you need to do is customize the keys in-game according to your preferences. Again, if you are looking for a PC gamepad, there is no reason to go with a console one. Choose this one instead. :) works great with madden which is all i really use this for. better than wireless IMO, don't need to always replace batteries. Average Rating:![]() |

Sony 100CDQ80RS CD-R (100 Pack Spindle)ReviewsBought those after going through a 100 Maxell spindle and no issues, and every Sony CD-R I burn won't play past 30 minutes... Got another Maxell spindle and they still work fine! How can Sony get away with such a bad product! I have no problem with any brand other than Sony CD-R's. They are absolutely worthless. I have to throw away 4 out of every 5 that I try to burn. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE! I am surprised by all the negative reviews for this product. I've bought these discs several times in stores, and I've very rarely run into a defective disc in any of the packs. In fact I'd say maybe only one or two, if that. I also use Memorex and Maxell, and I've come across a few defective discs with those brands. They wouldn't burn. The only things I've noticed with the Sony discs that I don't like is that many times I've found dust I've had to clean off, and some light scratches on some of the discs. But it never really seems to affect the performance of the disc. I also don't like that my fingers are usually blue after handling the discs because some sort of coloring rubs off on to my hands. I don't know what Sony puts on them, but the other brands don't have it. Other than that they work fine. I'd wait for a sale, though. This price seems exorbitant. I got two 100 packs for $10 each at Kmart once. That was a rare deal, but most stores usually carry them for less than $30. Even after trying the CDs on different burners (one burner even being on my sony vaio) I only get about 1 out of every 10 to actually burn completely. I even tried different programs ranging from free iso recorders to programs like Nero and SONIC. Granted I do not burn CDs often, but I consider these CDs still not worth the money. I just bought a 100 pack at Wal-Mart for $20 because it was such a good deal. It was a waste of money. 80% of the cds I burned skipped the first time I played them. No scratches, no dust, but terrible skipping. Even at the cheap price, they are just not worth it. I wish I read a review before I bought them. Average Rating:![]() |

Through a Dog's Ear: Music to Calm Your Canine Companion, Volume 1ReviewsThis was a Xmas present for a friend...his dog barks excessively when he leaves home. This has helped a lot, and he said the music was nice to listen to. Our dogs are alone most days as my wife and I both work. We long ago got into the habit of leaving music on for them, even though they long ago got over being anxious when alone. But when they like the music, we can tell by their demeanor when we return. This CD is wonderful! They love it, it totally relaxes them while they're home alone. They even make sure to "remind" us if we appear to be leaving without turning it on, they sit by the player and beg for it! We have tried a few different products, and this is one of the best. We have even fallen asleep ourselves, while listening. You can't do much better, I highly suggest it. I cant explain how thrilled I am with this CD. I was at the end of my rope with my roommate's dog. She would cry for hours, even if I had her out of her room playing with me and my dog. I tried talking to her in soothing tones, I tried shaking a can at her that she was scared of, I even tried just ignoring her. Last night my roommate left, like she does many nights, and of course her dog cried and yelped-even though she was out running around with me and my dog. So I put her in her room and put on this CD. She cried for maybe 20 seconds, then went to her bed and was silent for hours. It was the craziest thing, and it made my week. I just put the CD on repeat and she was so calm. Normally if she even sees me walk by the room she will have a fit. Yet I went to check up on her and she saw me and didnt make a noise but just went back to her bed. So my roommate gets home and we are expecting the normal crying and barking and general mayhem. Instead we were so pleasantly surprised to have a calm quiet dog in her place. I cant give this CD enough praise, and just wish I had thought of it before. My dog has been anxious and this music has been calming to him. He seems to be less anxious when he has this music on...one other plus it is pleasant for me to listen to, not unbearable like some other relaxation music cds I purchased. Now that the nights have gotten colder and it is dark early, I like to put this CD on about an hour before I put my doggie to bed; we both relax by the fire while I pet her or read; the music is very relaxing.
